This blog post is all about the 5784 Hebrew Year prophetic meaning
So at the beginning of this year, God began to speak to me about doors.
In particular, 5784 is a year of open doors. I received numerous revelations that confirmed that.
I will attempt to explain a bit of what was revealed to me, but I know the fullness of it all will be difficult to articulate.
As such, I request that you pray for discernment.
One crucial piece of knowledge you need to understand before I begin is what the number 4 represents in Hebrew.
Here goes:
According to Ancient Hebrew, it states, “The Modern Hebrew name for this letter is dalet and means “door.” The word dalet is a derivative of the parent root dal also meaning “door.”
Ready? Let’s go
Decade of ayin
To better understand the significance of this year, I’ll provide some vital information:
In 2010, the beginning of the Jewish decade of ayin (5770), which signifies the eye and vision, I received a word. From that encounter, I knew that Acts 10 & Joseph held a significant key(s) that would be unlocked in the future. This was the vision placed in my heart.
Over the years, I read Acts 10 over and over. I knew there was some hidden revelation. I wondered why I wasn’t finding this key. This mystery or revelation. Was it being hidden for an appointed time? I knew the story in this chapter, but I knew a mystery was attached.
This June, after receiving so many confirmations on the year 5784, I received the final revelation that convinced me that this year is indeed the year of open doors.
The truncated version is that I was sitting peacefully then it dawned on me, “OPEN DOORS!” That’s it. Acts 10 is about Open doors.
I wish I could articulate the emotions and the shock, disbelief, and awe of it.
I ask you to reflect on this: Acts 10 has been on my mind since 2010! And now God provided this revelation that aligns with 5784.

Acts 10
In the book of Acts, we find an account of Peter and Cornelius. It is a story illustrating how God was willing to open up doors for the purpose of spreading His Word. This was all contingent upon the faithfulness (or obedience) of Peter.
The Lord spoke to Peter in a vision and commanded him not to call any man unclean (Acts 10:28). This was a difficult command for Peter, as he was a Jew following the Law of Moses. However, Peter had to step out in faith if he wanted to follow God’s will. By obeying this command from the Lord, Peter opened the door for Gentiles (non-Jews) to be accepted into the church.
Not only did this event open doors for non-Jews to become Christians, but it also showed that God was working in ways never seen before. God had chosen Peter and Cornelius to bring about a significant change in the church – one which would see salvation spread far beyond the nation of Israel.
This is a powerful example of how our obedience to God can open amazing doors for us. When we trust and obey Him, He will lead us to places we never thought possible.
Friends, God is still in the business of opening doors for those who believe in Him.
A look back at 5783- Year of Goshen (Goshen Season)
I hope you are following along because all these pieces of information are super relevant.
They are all connected.
In 5783/2023, the theme word that I received is/was “Goshen.” I recorded a YouTube video and wrote a blog post regarding the revelations I had in early 2022.
There are three sub-themes under Goshen to keep in mind:
- Breakthrough
- Joseph
- Harvest
So, in short- the Goshen season activated Joseph’s.
A look forward into 5784…(5784 Hebrew year prophetic meaning)
WORD FOR THE YEAR: OPEN DOORS FOR JOSEPHS IN A GOSHEN SEASON!
Josephs will receive their breakthrough and come out of their prisons. They will steward the harvest in a Goshen season. They will have a divine strategy on how to use their giftings. The divine strategy will be from the Holy Spirit; He will empower the Josephs this season.
These Josephs have been behind the scenes. Working. Praying. Seemingly overlooked & forgotten.
These Josephs have helped people and have even told those they’ve helped, “But when all goes well with you, remember me and show me kindness; mention me to Pharaoh and get me out of this prison.” (Genesis 40:14)
Then what happens?…radio silence.
Then all of a sudden, Pharaoh will come and ask for you by name.
Many doors were closed for these Joseph’s…doors that would have elevated them. However, those doors weren’t meant for them! If you are Joseph, thank the Lord.
Remember the Biblical Joseph who was tempted by Potiphar’s wife; he closed a door that would have elevated him. But guess what- it was the WRONG door that wasn’t God appointed. He lost everything and was demoted.
Then things appeared to go from bad to worse.
The Biblical Joseph was thrown into prison. It seemed like his life had ended. But a God-appointed door opened, one that would lead to preserving the nation of Israel.

Essential points on doors!
The following are some points you need to understand:
- Open doors can seem obscure and meaningless and can be overlooked.
- Some open doors aren’t glamorous and are unseen (hidden). They can only be perceived by those who have discernment and are in the Spirit.
- Some doors are not God-appointed doors. Be vigilant and not fleshly.
- Some closed doors can appear like the end, but it’s just the beginning.
- Trust in God’s timing for the open door! (patience)
- Since this is the decade of 80’s or “pey,” which is the mouth- declaring the word of God is paramount in this season!
Themes for 5784 Hebrew Year prophetic meaning
I’d like to discuss four main themes or pointers that emerge from Biblical Joseph’s life:
- Forgiveness
- Understand that it is about God, NOT you!
- Rely on the gift giver.
- Spirit of Excellence
- Preservation (a call to help others)
Let’s dive deep:
1. Forgiveness:
If you are a Joseph, you MUST deal with unforgiveness. Unforgiveness will BLOCK your blessing this season! (sorry for the caps). In the Courts of Heaven blog post, I’ve spoken about my unforgiveness story. Essentially, the accuser of the brethren had legal grounds to block me from a divine job because of unforgiveness!
Let us take pointers from the Biblical Joseph was betrayed and sold into slavery by his own brothers. Despite such a tragic situation, he chose to forgive them and not respond in kind. This is an example of unconditional forgiveness, which we are instructed to follow.
Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
2. Understand it is about God, NOT you!
One of the key themes from Joseph’s story was his unwavering belief in God and His divine plan. I know it can be easy to flip the switch and focus on your circumstance or yourself. But we shouldn’t. This can be a major distraction. Imagine Joseph sulking in prison, saying, “Woe is me.” He was busy attending to people in prison. In Genesis 40:7, Joseph asks fellow prisoners, “Why do you look so worried today?”
So, despite seemingly insurmountable odds, Joseph maintained a profound faith that God would bring him through whatever circumstance he faced. We can learn from this that no matter our situation, God should remain our focus, and we trust Him to bring us out.
1 Peter 2:4-5 “As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ”
1 Peter 2:9 “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”
3. Rely on the Gift Giver:
Joseph was given the gift of interpreting dreams- with great accuracy! However, He always relied on the Gift giver.
Genesis 40:8 “We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”
4. Spirit of Excellence:
Throughout Joseph’s story, we see him walking excellently in whatever he does. He is promoted to a position of high authority and stands out among the rest (Genesis 41:39-40). We can learn from his example that no matter what our role is in life, we should strive for excellence because it honors God and brings Him glory. P.S. Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
5. Preservation (a call to help others).
In the same way that Joseph was used to preserve, we are also called to help others. We, too, can be used as part of God’s plan to help people. Let us follow Joseph’s example and use whatever gifts and talents God has given us to help others in need.
Genesis 45:7 reads, “God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance.”
Disclaimer:
It would be reckless (for me) to state that this message is for everyone- I don’t believe in naming it and claiming it when Heaven isn’t backing it.
This season is for those who have sown and been in obedience. I’m not saying perfection. I’m talking about obedience. Those who faithfully ensured that they had oil in their lamps. Waiting for the right time (See Matthew 25). Those who were weeping in the night, seeking the Lord for direction, while others were fast asleep.
Ponder: Are these open doors connected to a revival? I don’t know, but I ask that you pray on it. It would make sense, but I don’t want to add to any of the revelations that I received.
P.S. I pray that you use discernment and ask the Holy Spirit to confirm if this word is for you.
P.P.S. If this message isn’t for you, perhaps God has prepared you for another season. Spend time in the secret place so that He can provide you with a revelation of your season.

I know people will wonder how they can prepare for the open door.
I believe God has already prepared these people. When a door is opened, discern if it truly is from the Lord.
If you discern that is the case, walk through it with humility and gratitude.

Wow! I can’t explain how this word has blessed me. I’ve been reading Acts 10 all week and also got the revelation that God was preparing Peter for a ministry that would reach the “unclean” which were the ones call clean. So, I know this open door will be an opportunity to reach a people who desire God but don’t know Christ.
However, I also believe Josephs will be necessary because Josephs can sustain the ministries. Joseph can feed, house, and provide resources for those who may have to leave their traditional jobs for the sake of ministry or obeying God. Joseph has the supply house.

Several months ago I felt the spirit give me a word about this new season I was walking into. It was from Mark 7 in which Jesus heals the deaf and dumb man and declares “BE OPENED!” I wrote down all that was placed on my heart and I would like to share.

This was a wonderful article. Thank you! Perhaps if I give you a few details you may have a word or insight for me. The enemy knows my weaknesses. I have been set free of rejection and other things. I’ve always had a heart for God. My life circumstances have been full of difficulties from the moment of conception. I have let His Word become part of me in my young adulthood as well as currently in my life. I stopped seeking for 2 decades as my load was so heavy after rejection and betrayal from church. (Divorced parent of many young children working busy high risk job getting very little child support) I remember praying when I felt I couldn’t go on that I would have a willing heart to serve Him always before I laid down the weapons of my warfare. I almost died seeking my own selfish (yet human) desire for love, acceptance and inclusion a few years ago. I returned to Him shortly thereafter. He has truly restored my soul from much trauma and sorrow. My kids are amazingly fairly well adjusted adults. I wasn’t looking for love in a spouse or mate at all after being divorced for decades. A Christian man (hurt from his past) (likely unknowingly) led me to believe we were building a relationship for about 9 months and I was thriving spiritually and emotionally. When I expressed being fond of him and need for encouragement (long distance communication) he stopped all communication at a time of extreme heavy emotional and physical load. I felt sorrow. I have forgiven. I’ve been obedient in some areas, not all though. (I am not young and have a very busy life circumstance) This thee me for a loop.The enemy piles things on when I most need to stay focused on relationship with God, Word and prayer. I have a significant relationship with the Father. I hate when I’m not fully pleasing to Him. I am sorrowful, repent and get back up over and over. I understand the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I understand and put on the whole armor. I understand and know His mercy. I also know and understand the fear of the Lord and His judgements. I keep hanging on to Him even through the trials and tribulations because I never, ever want to be outside of His covering again. It’s been really rough since April. I hope I’ve not disobeyed my way out of His blessing. I keep asking, seeking and knocking at His door. I know He is faithful and just, even when we are aren’t. His Word is absolute truth. I hope you give yourself a pat on the back because, as much as it doesn’t seem like it…you hang on to the message of the Lord against all odds. Secondly, I love the declaration in your name, “Victorious.” I know this is a declaration you are making in the Spirit realm that God has given you victory this season.
I suggest you start earnestly seeking the Father’s heart and develop a relationship with Him (without any distractions). It says in the word, ” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” When we seek the heart of the Father, even in what we think as mundane, we end up aligning with His heart and His will for us. Spend time talking to Him; tell Him your heart and your hurt. Invite the Holy Spirit to do everything with you.
I would also ask that you claim recompense for what the enemy has stolen in your life. Joel 2:25, “Then I will repay you for the years that the mature locusts, the adult locusts, the grasshoppers, and the young locusts ate your crops.” I can tell you that I’ve personally been in your shoes not too long ago. I felt drained and robbed by the enemy. I started to seek God earnestly. I was praying and inviting Him. Then, last year, things shifted. This is a confirmation for me. I happened to come to this blog as I googled the prophetic meaning of this year’s Jewish calendar. Thank God. The LORD spoke to me a couple of months ago about Open Doors in the coming New Year 2024. I have certainly been in a Goshen season. Before I read this blog post, I was in prayer and saw a wall being busted through with mighty force. Talk about confirmation. Continue to allow HIM to use you as a vessel of honor for His glory. I have been given directives for 25 years about the coming years. 5784 is really (5+7) 12 tribes, (8+4) 12 gates, the New Jerusalem coming to the earth. By Jesus the word of God being King via a theocracy instituted by the Bride. Yes, the living Ark will unite and own the world and bring back the word of God as king! Jesus is the word, I could have a lot to say, but it would be too much to put on this blog, so I just want you to know while the whole world is in chaos and turmoil, the Joseph’s as you put it are in jubilee.

I found this, late at night. I couldn’t sleep. I felt deep heaviness and pressure in every fiber of my being. I was Googling Rosh Hoshana. I was crying uncontrollably and begging YHWH for help. I was begging Him to open my eyes and ears, and for peace of mind and clarity, for some clue of what was going on with me, and for understanding of what I was supposed to be doing. I was fully in dispair, and I will just put it in those terms. But I know Him, and I knew He was there, and my faith was being tested and He was waiting for me to fully turn to Him and cry out. He knew I was ready. That’s when I found your message. He knows what I need and when. And what is a miracle to me, is just Him waiting on the right time to give me what He has been waiting to give me. Wow, Thank you for your beautiful share on Joseph. I am too very fascinated with Joseph. Although I do not have the gift of interpreting dreams, yet :-), Abba Father has blessed me with dreams. This is my favorite way our Heavenly Father communicates with me. I am so thankful to Him for this precious gift!
Usually I receive word from Jesus with regards to what the new year has in store for us, but up until I have read this beautiful blog post, I did not realize that God has been speaking for quite some time with me about the year of the open door! Or, in actual fact about the season of Goshen, or me, being a Joseph. All honor, and all glory be to HIM alone!! He is so faithful! Thank you Jesus!!
In 2022, Yeshua spoke to me about Joseph. I so wanted to relate to who Joseph was, and I went on this beautiful journey, trying to find out where I fit in. I came across this website called chabad.org, which gives you, your Hebrew birthdate. According to this birthdate, I was born in the month of Cheshvan, and with that I received my Torah portion. Now what was so significant to me, was that because I am part of this calendar month, It meant I was part of the Joseph tribe, in part, part of the Manasseh tribe – WOW!! This is why I receive dreams, this is why Joseph means so much to me!! Oh, there are so many evidences I could mention, to prove to myself that this is how Father has shown me that I am part of Him, of this beautiful tribe. It has given me a sense of belonging.
Coming back to all of this, and of that, your blog – I could fully relate to your theme – and forgiveness has been a major topic in my life. Jesus has given me a promise of restoration, and also, the promise of entering His promised Land, I believe this is Goshen. I look forward to what God has in store for us in this new season. I am so excited!! He is so so GOOD!! Hallelujah!

I love this blog! It’s obviously written for many people but it fits all of my experiences and what is happening in my life.
In September 2023 I heard a message on the year of the open door. I was out of town at a church I had wanted to visit when I heard this message. But also heard it from three other ministers the same day which is 4 times. Year of the open door!
Fast forward, 2 days before reading this the Lord said something I didn’t understand at all. You’ve provided a portion of its meaning but there is more to come. He said we are a Cornelius Nation (in this generation). I had not read nor heard anything about about Cornelius in a long while so this was unique.
20 years ago was a remarkable year when the Lord began showing me things I couldn’t comprehend and I had an open vision which relates to Him using me to preserve people much like Joseph. Since that year I have referred to myself as a Joseph. Not only that in the book of Habakkuk it says to write down the vision and although it tarry it shall surely come to pass. So I named my son Joseph and wrote my vision according to Joseph’s vision on my son’s birth certificate.
I’ve had many confirmations that this is my year. This blog is so amazing as it fits me perfectly. We have to share more. There is more revelation coming!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

I’ve been referring to myself as a Joseph for 13 years now and I’m thrilled to see how many Joseph’s are simultaneously waking up to this season! I’m happy to hear that you have been carrying that spiritual Joseph name for 20 years!
Something fun happened to me this December 2023. I was travelling overseas and the attendant at the flight desk mispronounced my middle name which is an ethnic name and he says, “Heather Joseph Chesiyna.” I giggled and responded emphatically, “YES”😂

Hi, Made of Still! I wrote the last post. Revelation and prophecy are supposed to super abound in this season.
Joseph’s are emerging in this Cornelius generation! Joseph’s are beginning to see their responsibility across this nation. We are emerging and we will steward the harvest. When we look at the 7 mountains of influence we are going up the mountains of influence and taking back what belongs to us. When the world is in great need and distress Joseph’s will be in jubilee. The years we’ve been behind closed doors sowing the Lord is saying this is the year of the open door for my Joseph’s!
