5786 Hebrew Year Prophetic Meaning: Making Room for Kingdom Convergence – “Stretch to Connect”

On the 4th of June 2025, I heard the following from the Lord, “This year is connected to all the years that you have labored. This is the year where there will be connecting of the dots. It will all make sense. All that labor, that shame, that rejection. It will all make sense.”

When I heard this in my spirit, I immediately wrote it down, and I was overwhelmed with emotion. I thought about how many in the Body of Christ have endured so much—sometimes to the brink of despair—questioning whether their pain has been in vain.

That was when God revealed to me that the 5786 Jewish Year theme message is:

Making Room for Kingdom Convergence “Stretch to Connect”

Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not hold back; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs.”

My hope is that this Holy Spirit-inspired message encourages you as we step into the New Year. Soon, you’ll discover that every trial, every tear, and every moment of doubt has been shaping you for the purpose God has prepared.

I’ll break down each portion of the message and tie it together at the end.

Ready? Let’s go!

Making Room

Early this year (in March), God started to speak to me about making room. I wrote a detailed blog post titled “Make Room for God to Perform a Miracle.” Little did I know that this was going to be a pivotal piece to the 5786 Jewish New Year.

Let’s reference Isaiah 54:2, “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not hold back; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs.”

I believe this verse speaks about making room for growth, blessing, and the unexpected. It ties directly into the tent imagery and the “peg”.

So let me explain… when setting up a tent, the tent pegs play a crucial role. They are driven into the ground to hold the structure in place, allowing the fabric to be stretched out and creating space within. Without the pegs, the tent cannot expand properly or remain stable. In life, this serves as a picture of what happens when we are called to stretch and make room—for growth, for new opportunities, or for what God wants to establish in our lives. Just as a tent needs firm pegs to secure its space, we need to anchor ourselves (in God) in order to expand, make room, and prepare for what is coming.

When God calls us to “make room,” He also invites us into a posture of faith, where we see in the Spirit that God has already done the miracle. Once we see that evidence (faith) in the spirit, we prepare and make space. It can be seen as decluttering because we know we will be selling our house soon. It can be as simple as cleaning up and fixing your credit, as you prepare to put in an offer on your dream home.

This year, I suggest that you make the relevant plans to make room and stretch yourself.

What does making room look like?

  • It’s all about clearing space in your heartmind, and schedule to receive your miracle.
  • It’s stretching and expanding your capacity to contain that miracle.
  • It’s less about activity and more about intentionality. This means “doing” what God has instructed you to do. Don’t be busy doing that which is futile.
  • It requires us to step away from the fleshly “grind” and create an open invitation for God to work in ways we can’t foresee or fathom.

Vav- Make room for the “and”

Let’s start by understanding what exactly Vav means and represents:

  • Vav is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and carries the literal meaning of a hook or tent peg—something that joins, secures, or holds things together. It was used to connect things—like hooking curtains together in the tabernacle (Exodus 26:32).
  • Vav is more than just a letter—it represents connection. Grammatically, Vav often functions like the English word “and,” linking one thought to another. Its very first appearance in Scripture is in Genesis 1:1, within the word “v’et”, which means “and,” connecting the heavens and the earth.”
  • Spiritually, Vav is seen as a symbol of connection, binding, and continuity. It reflects how God links us to Himself—through His love, His Word, and His promises.

As I mentioned earlier, when setting up a tent, you use tent pegs to stretch the fabric and create space. In the same way, the vav—as a connector—invites us to make room for the “and” in our lives: the place where heaven meets earth, the point where God’s plans meet our reality, and where expansion begins. I would term this as divine kingdom convergence.

Making room for the “and” is about stretching beyond the familiar, securing new territory, and being willing to hold space for both what is and what is coming. ❤️

Consecration and Obedience

Every prophetic word has a divine instruction. Psalm 119 is a valuable instruction for the upcoming year. Please pay attention to this because when God gave me this message, it broke me. It highlighted an aspect of my life that I need to focus on:

In Psalm 119, the sixth section focuses on the Hebrew letter Vav. In the Hebrew text, every line of these eight verses (Psalm 119:41–48) begins with a word that starts with the letter Vav. That means that each of these eight verses symbolizes a connection—a “hook” that joins us to God’s promises.

If you read the eight verses, you notice something astonishing. The Psalmist experiences freedom not by casting off God’s law, but by walking in it.

Let’s go over each verse summary with that “connection” theme in mind:

  • Verse 41: Asks for God’s mercy and salvation—a personal connection.
  • Verse 42: Trust in God’s word helps him answer those who mock—he’s connected to God’s defense.
  • Verse 43: Pleads not to lose God’s truth—holding on to that lifeline.
  • Verse 44: Vows to keep God’s law forever—an eternal connection.
  • Verse 45: Walking in freedom because he seeks God’s guidance.
  • Verse 46: Boldness to speak of God’s Word—even before kings—because he’s anchored in truth.
  • Verse 47-48: Loves and meditates on God’s commands—a heart bound to God.

This is bold because the Psalmist asks for God’s mercy and salvation, clings to His truth, and finds the courage to speak His Word boldly, even before kings. This tells us that obedience is not a burden, but a pathway to liberty; it anchors the soul in God’s will and protects us from the snares of the enemy.

For me, this section of the prophetic word carries even deeper meaning because, on June 23, 2025, while listening to “Hagiazo” by Dunsin Oyekan, God powerfully highlighted the importance of obedience and consecration. I was reminded that I am a child of God—emphasis on child—fully dependent on Him. It brought me to tears, realizing how He calls me to make room for Him, to rest in His pastures (Psalm 23), and to align my life with His plan, His will, and His Word. I cannot rely on myself—I place my trust in Him.

Friends, for the year 5786, I make a plea for us (me included!😭) to delight in God’s commands with uplifted hands, and to find freedom in obedience and consecration.

Stretch to Connect

Friends, I wish I could tell you that stretching is easy. It truly isn’t. Stretching to connect can be challenging—it often feels uncomfortable or even difficult to be pulled beyond our current limits. Yet, this very process is essential because it creates the space needed for growth, adaptation, and advancement to the next level. Just as a tent must be stretched and secured to provide shelter, we too must embrace stretching in order to expand and make room for what comes next.

Lastly, remember that the stretching must be anchored in God, not our flesh. You aren’t stretching for your own selfish gain; you are stretching to the Glory of God.

Here is the trailer for this year:

Each year, after sharing the prophetic word for the Jewish calendar, I always end by saying, “I don’t believe in naming and claiming it if heaven isn’t backing it!” This remains true this year! This word isn’t for everyone, and we need to be sincere if it doesn’t speak to us.

Wishing you a prosperous 5786 Jewish/ Hebrew Year!

Hugs,

Heather Chesiyna_Signature_MOS
