Discover God the Giver’s 31+ Gifts of Love: Uncover His Generosity!

This post is all about uncovering God’s generosity!

God is the author of good, and He is a giver.❤️

One of His most incredible attributes is that He always gives—His heart overflows with love, grace, mercy, provision, and so much more.

God’s character encompasses generosity and selflessness; He sacrificially gives without expecting anything in return.

As receivers of His abundance, it’s important to understand how God chooses to give and be reminded of the many gifts we can find in Him if we make Him our source.

Ready? Let’s go!

Why I’m writing this post…

You may be wondering why I took the tedious time to compile such a list. Like, for real…why?

Let me explain…

Well, sometimes, we see God theoretically and not practically. That’s why I went out of my way to write this post and compile this list- 5th grader style!

As a believer, I often find myself in moments of doubt and uncertainty. Life can sometimes be overwhelming, with all its different challenges and responsibilities. It is easy to forget the faithful giver of hope, joy, strength, and peace – God. Whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed or lost, I try to remind myself that God is always with me.

This list is also a challenge for me to remember what areas of my life I lack and that God can step in as a giver.

Why not ask?

We know that God is a generous Giver and is willing to bless us with all we need. We should not be afraid to ask God for things, no matter how big or small they are.

Ephesians 1:3 says that He has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places—so why not ask the Giver to provide us with something, as long as it aligns with His will? He knows what we need and wants to give it to us.

Matthew 7:9-11 encourages us to ask for from our Father, knowing He will grant them. We may not receive everything we ask for, but God promises to give us what is best for us and answer our prayers in the way that He knows is right. So, we can trust Him to provide all our needs according to His will and understanding.

Let’s not be afraid to ask God for what He has promised us. We can approach Him with faith, knowing that whatever He gives us is for our good. Let’s have the courage to ask, trusting that God will answer in His perfect way and give us what we need.

Challenge yourself to cheerfully give!

We are made in the image of God!

So in as much as God is a giver of good things, He also teaches us how to give. He encourages us to reach out and share our time, talents, and resources with others who need them.

In doing so, we become instruments of God’s love, helping those around us on their journey.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Are you not of more value than they?

16. God is the giver of hope
