Dedicating your home through prayer is one of the most important things you can do.

When you dedicate your home to God, you acknowledge that He is the true foundation. You invite His peace into every room, His protection over the walls, and His presence into every conversation and decision that takes place inside.

Dear God,
I want to thank You for bringing me and my family safely to this new home and for all the new opportunities it brings. Your Word says in Psalm 127:1 that unless You build the house, the builders labor in vain—so today, Lord, I invite You to be the foundation of this home.
Heavenly Father, I dedicate each and every room to You. Let Your Spirit inhabit these spaces. May this house and all its occupants serve You, just as Joshua declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” I also ask that you fill these rooms with joy, peace, and love.
May your angels stand guard over this home, and may the name of Jesus be exalted every day. I also ask that you place a hedge of fire around this property as per Psalm 91. May we dwell in Your shelter and rest under Your shadow. Guard every door and window. Let no harm, fear, or evil cross this threshold. I plead the precious blood of the Lamb over this home.
I decree and declare that this will be a home of growth, divine purpose, and blessing. May laughter and the joy of the Lord echo through these halls.
Lord, may Your presence be tangible here. Guide every person in this home to be Your light to our neighbors and to the community around us.
