In January 2020, I wrote a blog post that weighed heavy on my heart and soul. I felt that the blog post would not only be for 2020 but years beyond. I titled it “A message for today’s remnant: 2020 & Beyond”. A few days ago, God started reminding me about the blog post, and when I read it, I felt goosebumps. I feel in my spirit that we have officially entered this season!
It’s no secret that 2020 has been an apocalyptic year. Who would’ve thought we would have a worldwide pandemic? Who would’ve thought we would have economies collapse and thriving industries fall to their knees? Who could ever fathom that locusts of biblical proportions would invade multiple countries as we continued to hear and see more and more signs occurring throughout the world? One thing that opened my eyes for sure is that we indeed don’t wrestle against flesh and blood. There is a spiritual aspect to this year.
Brethren, even if we walk through the fire, we will not be burned! I want to encourage us all that God is raising a standard against the enemy. He is with us; we only need to yield to his will and perfect plans for us fully.
I encourage you to read this powerful blog post that I referenced by clicking here. If you are led, please share this blog post with friends and family. I pray that the Holy Spirit opens your spiritual eyes and ears because this is a resounding message that applies to the remnant. As I close, I want to state that I am convinced of one thing: the remnant is RISING!
Isaiah 43:2 NIV
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
